To be honest, I find this attitude equally as annoying. No good being 'smug' about it because we won a game. We're 17th and are still yet to score first in a game this season! It's improved sure, but let's not pretend all our problems have gone away and let's not pretend that winning from a last minute gift of a penalty suddenly means we're the best side in the league. Balance works both ways. It's an improvement, but we still have a long way to go!

I'm just glad it's stemmed the tide of 100 new threads per week, each offering their own unique and highly interesting take on why everythings fucked and the club is sliding into oblivion.

Trouble is, now we've won a couple, some think it's our cue to piss the league.

Seems that the first casualty of a victory or a defeat is balance.

Excellent performance. Excellent result. For any person, business, sports team to be successful then they have to be consistent. Let's hope that we can build on these last two league results and go on a consistent winning run.

Last season we lost sight of what we were about as a club. I realise today is only one performance but it does appear as if Chris has us heading in the right direction.

They're the ones that let the highs get too high and the lows get too low.

I just like to try and maintain a good sense of balance.

Apparently that makes me a clapper rather than just very well adjusted and able to keep things in proportion ;)

Calm down mate. We won, enjoy it, and let's see where we are in a few games time eh. As I say, we're 17th as it stands, a bit of balance would make me happy.

I'm chilled mate all I think is we look on the up after today's performance let's reflect from last season when we got mullered down there to today where looked a total better team ,the side today passed and moved the ball about and best we have seen for a while and Freeman looks a different animal this season ,I may be jumping the gun but gillingham are no mugs especially at home and we were the best side today so we should be very confident on today's performance that our early bad form is well over and things are on the up .

A little bit of positivity goes a long long way.

Totally disagree we SHOULD BE VERY CONFIDENT.
We are shockingly slow going forward.
Clueless in making quick, meaningfull decisions where it matters in the final third and our finishing is woeful.

We got 3 deserved points today, but we are a million miles from promotion material.
Luckily we have time and hopefully a manager who will deliver.
Good result today.
One game at a time.

Exactly, today was an improvement and it would have probably been a draw had that young lad for Gillingham realised he was playing football and not basketball.

We have improved but we make it hard work ourselves and still lack pace going forward.

I'm glad we won went straight out for an 11 mile run -good to see us come from behind to win twice in succession - just wish we'd improve our shooting and still don't feel we'll get enough goals from midfield but very satisfied with the overall performance today.

I think it was a good all round performance. We dominated the game and had more chances than them. We deserved the win regardless of how it came. I wasn't impressed with Done or Duffy tbh. I think JCR is a far bigger threat on the flank but that's history now obviously. There's certainly room for Lavery in this team. But for now we can allow ourselves some positivity. We are a team of fairly average players that look to be capable of performing above average and that alone should get us up the table in coming weeks.

We have improved 10 fold from those shocking performances agianst Rochdale and Southend when we looked completely clueless.

Is that enough to propell us to being Promotion candidates, not yet In my opinion, but if we can keep improving over the next months, who knows?

Did you just say very satisfied?

Careful, you'll be ruining your fucking reputation

If only we had Bradley Dack.

Perhaps we don't feel the need to say anything
After all the fans cannot be credited with a good win can we ?

Blamed for a bad defeat, yes

Let's hope this can breed some confidence and is the start of getting a system of play that fans can recognise and support and the players can execute

He had a decent game. Reminded me a bit of Andy Reid.
Would you think he`d improve us?
Always liked him. Great free kick and a clever player. No doubt there's some daft reason he's not been snapped up by a `champ team.
