AFCON groups were drawn today. meaning it starts in 3 months time, 13th Jan.

long enough time to get some numbers back from Injury but who could we lose for the month?

Larouci - Algeria
Slimane - Tunisia
Traore - Ivory Coast?

Potentially Amissah to Ghana if hes fit?

None mentioned are first teamers, unless more injuries occur

AFC cup starts same time in Qatar. So anyone in Asian teams will be called up too.

Will have an effect on almost every team across Europe.

Not suggesting we are unique in suffering from the losses just saying with our current injury numbers we are beyond bare bones if those numbers don’t improve

Imagine if it was Ndiaye we were losing, as it stands we’ll feel very little impact of losing these players. It just means more kids on the bench.

I don't know about AFCON but we must be at DEFCON 2 and if we don't get some more points on the board soon it will continue to rise.

Which raises another question. One u don’t actually know the answer too. Say we have a full squad now as we have to name injured players does this mean in January we move on senior players to free up room or only sign players under 23?

Edit** we can have more than 25 can’t we just have to leave some out ie Balham for example

Under 21 is fine. Obviously Basham leaves a gap.

Anyone not fit to play before Easter should be omitted from the squad if we have been able to sign alternatives.

Clubs can rename their squad in January. You can change your squad around during the transfer window.

Another great opportunity to lose more players. Club before Country!

Forest is VERY interesting!

SKY seem to have deleted the middle tweet, so here's the list:

Palace = Ayew
Everton = Gueye
Fulham = Toure, Bassey & Iwobi
Liverpool = Endo & Salah
Luton = Kaboure
Man City = none
Man Utd = Onana & Amrabat
Newcastle = None

Looking forward to watching the final of the AFC Cup, hopefully see a top Japan side triumph.

If they win their group, I'll catch their R16 game too

I'd imagine the three nations forest have will go quite far too, unlike probs Algeria and tunisia

We play a few of those that are missing players don’t we? Maybe can work in our favour.

A worrying amount if you are Forest, Wolves and Brentford.
