Just read an article about 3 experienced players United should sign. Leon Osman, Adrian Mariappa and Peter Crouch.
Now Crouch and Osman is probably definitely not possible but Mariappa?
I'm surprised at championship club hasn't come in for him, seeing he's a free agent. Surely worth a punt? Deal till end of season. Think he's a definate player we need.

Any three of those would be incredible signings at this level, all unrealistic though.
