This lot seem to be enjoying life in the third tier
It is a pity they will not be staying there for some time. Got what they deserved. I wonder what their following would be had they stayed down a few years.
60% would say yes though as it increases the profile of the league and gets a massive increase in revenue for them. They actually won their case with the tax man, so perhaps shouldn't have had such heavy penalties. Many of the other clubs in Scotland have used them as an example and are still trying to punish them
Sounds like Charles Green is actually doing an alright job, but its still unclear what his agenda is there, so needs to be handled carefully.
Scottish football keep moving the goal posts, so it looks like Rangers will make an attempt to get into the English Conference, 60% have said that they will accept them in. I think Scottish football needs Rangers more than Rangers need it.

The case with HMRC was a different matter and I can't believe they won their case.
If the payments they made to players were loans and therefore tax-free, when will the players be repaying the loans?
Why don't all clubs simply pay players like that and avoid paying tax? Doesn't it set a precedent?

"The club, which is now in liquidation, used the scheme from 2001 to 2010 to make £47.65m in payments to players and staff in the form of tax-free loans. HMRC had challenged the payments, arguing that they were illegal. In a majority decision, the tribunal said the payments - of about £49m - were loans, not earnings, and so were not liable for income tax."
We've already tried to steal it once, it lasted a few weeks of half hearted attempted at it. I'd rather we be more creative to be honest.
It just makes me cringe watching every group of lads at every ground in the country trying to be ground breaking by attempting to do Dale Cavese or something.
Thing is how many songs have we "invented" lately.. They're all reworded versions of other football songs.. Most of em anyway
Indeed, but we could at least pick something less wide spread, or be the ones that do actually create something![]()

Repetitive chanting has been done to death now. Innovation lies in the belting out of full songs start to finish.
And verse 2 of the GCB goes, how?
