Where's the "in/out/don't know/not sure/can't make my mind up" option?

Again its whos coming in to replace him that worries me so im a dont know

In.

He did have a "track record" of success before he arrived here, but that all goes out the window once he arrived at the lane. He started with a clean slate.

What Adkins has achieved is to reiterate the atmosphere of mediocrity is acceptable. It's not.

I know he has a job to do, he's a positive guy and he's away with the fairies, but I also think that he has the attention of the players. That said, it's a utopia and it will remain that whilst he is smoking crack.

The club, Adkins and the players need to wake up, stop pointing fingers elsewhere and start taking responsibility. Clough and the past became just that when they were removed. Clough was wrong on many things, but he also did a lot of right and the biggest crime of the new regime that Phipps has not only excused, but encouraged is to reverse any good work done previously.

What Adkins can do now, with the support of Phipps is to stop making excuses and start getting realistic about this situation.

Adkins said on his prematch interview was that we'd only lost a couple of games in two months, we're unbeaten away and we JUST need to turn a few draws into wins.

All factual and statistically correct of course, but when he goes cold turkey from the narcotics, he'll see that we are actually shit. The shittest team weve had in the last 30+ years.

Adkins is a good guy, but he also has to deal with the situation. He surely doesn't want this on his CV, I'm sure he'd be more than comfortable with a 6 month pay off in return for 6 months off on gardening leave and a golden gag, but I'd say keep him and let him work through this mess

Got to go now, his signings have been very poor. I don't see any hope with him in charge.

Heard an interesting 'version' of what is happening at the club this afternoon from a friend j speak to about houses now and again. The reason provided for the lack of transfer activity in January is because of the toxic dressing room as mentioned by Sitwell in the shout on this afternoon. They decision was made to carry on as we were because of how hard it was to get rid of these players and they don't want to introduce new players into the mix.

Reed McGahey and Adams apparently got their heads down hang out together. alsonling has managed I get on with it.

Not sure myself how 18 players who aren't part of the problem can put in a performance like last night though, but don't expect any young fast hungry player as described until the asylum has been locked down.

No reason to disbelieve him, always given me nuggets before but sounds like all of a sudden similar stories are started to get filtered out of the club.

In.... for now.
Really concerned after last night that he doesn't seem to have a game plan. The tactics (if you can call it that) were abysmal and then no real attempt to change it in the 2nd half apart from "let's throw some more strikers on" with no apparent thought as to how these forwards were actually going to see the ball - the answer being they didn't. We looked ok and Bury were very happy to watch us pass it sideways up to the centre line and then there was no idea of how to then feed the forwards unless it was an aimless punt down the channels. Then Adkins comes over as if we were well in it and "endeavouring" to win the game - don't make me laugh (I would laugh if it wasn't so tragic). Stupid things like knocking the ball out to the wing and even though our player receives it, he's out of play, that must have happened 2 or 3 times.

Needs to be a (ahem!) massive improvement on Saturday - I don't think he can last many more displays like that. Whatever we think of the players, they are more than capable of much better than that and it's the managers job to get the best out of them. Without doubt, he is not doing that, nowhere near.

Whilst I have absolutely NO inside knowledge I have to say this doesn't surprise me at all.
If, as a player, I'd been part of getting to two semi finals and a play off in the last 18 months, and then seen the boss get the bullet I'd be thinking I was working for a right set of cunts and be looking at the exit.

not impressed , expected far more , but hes not motivating as I expected
wasnt huber excited to start with after his failure at Reading , but the pennys dropping , hes coming up short

If we got rid of Adkins now it would be like 2013 when no one who was any good wanted the job and we had to settle for Weir.

Before tonight's Football Heaven, I was an 'Out'. Listening to NA, I wish there was a 'Get the fuck out' option. His view of games is so unrealistic he wants putting in a rubber room. Bury's goal was 'handball'.. and other such shit. He utterly failed to recognise that Bury would be nervous after conceding nine goals in their last two games. Anybody could have told him that tearing into them from the off could pay dividends. Instead ,and as usual, we started in a tepid style (have we 'turned up' in any first half since Clough arrived?) and allowed the opposition to settle.

Another salient point was 'Alan' a Barnsley fan who, looking forward to their game v Donnie on Saturday, said 'I can't wait. It'll be a cracking Yorkshire derby.' There are no guarantees in football, but I can confidently predict that our game v Port Vale will be shocking, mind-numbingly boring, devoid of any serious goal threats from United in the first half and full of 'safe' sideways and backwards passing. We'll have overdue and ineffective substitutions, we'll probably lose, the game will end in a torrent of boos, I'll get home, log in to S2 4SU and read about people saying 'He needs to be given time'.

Jesus wept.

Get shut for me, When he got the push at Reading because of the shambolic performances,
it was everybody's fault but his own, according to him.
But now he's landed in our lap it's obvious it's all down to Adkins.

Tactically poor, even poorer signings, talks bollocks.

If he's here much longer we'll be fighting relegation.

He cant seem to create a buzz about the place, one decent victory is followed by a inept follow up or some tactical embarrassment. ..........im not convinced throughout his short reign that hes our man..............& his post match interviews are getting legendary for all the wrong reasons

You know it's hit bottom when WHF goes underground.

Can't listen to radio due to Edwards, go to the ground or on here for negative people.

Only need to get in his wife's ear and it is job done!

To be fair, I was sure we would win last night so this must have hit him hard.

Everyone still happy with their vote?
