quite a big spread in the Star on Wednesday , Adkins on Calvert Lewin.

What is the score here, his he blowing smoke up the lads proverbial or is he starting him.
He only seems to be getting a few mins subbed time, yet he praises him in training.

Anyone know if he is starting today

Do we know if he did well at Northampton?
I notice he scored 5 in 20 starts but I remember comments that Roygbiv brought to our attention- and their fans weren't overly excited by him.
Do we have striking coach at the club? I know we have a defending and a goalkeeping one, how much could he improve if he worked with Deano day in and day out?

He is a young lad who's improving with the right attitude no need to rush him.If Adkins felt he was ready for starting he would do it , he needs a bit of time to mature,we could have a real good player on our hands.Surely the coaching staff will know when he's ready to start , that's what they get paid for .

Most of their views on him were fairly positive and I think he scored something like 8 goals in all competitions. A lot said he was a better prospect than Ivan Toney who did well for them. Still, they're probably happier with James Collins as a replacement.
