Some interesting replies as ever...

Firstly I'd been up all night... It wasn't first thing in the morning for me..
Secondly, I did say I agree with the strategy, we've been bullied out of it in this awful division, the scougall wwf tackle at Bradford being the worst one, the refs are cunts in this league... Ref was on drugs or bent that day..
I won't be naming the player, but like scougall, we were raving about him not so long ago...

Finally, just pointing out from inside that no matter how hard you try, like dieago has been, that it's a fact ...size does matter..

He does seem to be going a bit over the top with it. It's like he isn't capable of doing anything without either not even attempting it or doing it to the nth degree to the point where the negatives of over doing it outweigh the negatives of just not bothering. I can see him getting fixated next season and it causing us to miss out on some quality as a result.

I just don't see the argument. And that's as someone who didn't get a chance due to a lack of height.

The smaller players we've let go or haven't been in the first have been as a result of them not being good enough.

So we need 4 big lads to defend set pieces? yes thats fine so that leaves another 6 outfield players that can be under 6ft, i am sure we can live with that. X2 centre halves at 6ft, 1 defensive midfielder at 6ft and another somewhere, maybe a full back ? why would it have to be any of the forward players. I do think Adams will leave not because he is short but simply because we are Sheffield United and we sell all our young stars to the first bidder, he won't be going to Chesterfield i can tell you that for sure.
