I can't help but feel bad for the bloke. Much as Clough didn't know his best side, nor does NA. How could he with this lot? Have you ever seen such a huge, mismatched, poor bunch of players at any club in your life?

Cant agree with that. Players are poor but most are experienced performers who have played at top League 1 or higher. His job is to motivate them and get them organised. He has not done that. They are poor players but evne Clough got most of them doing better than this. The players he has brought in are even worse than Clough's signings. Hammond, Sammon,, Edgar, Woolford are mostly really poor.

Adkins needs to start kicking arse and fast. He has pussy footed about too much watching over unacceptable rubbish. If he is inaapable of changing it even with poor players or motivating those here then god help him if he goes somewhere even lower (that will be his next job - league two)

Tonight I've had to sit in a pub full of supporters of various Premier League teams and explain how it is that my team have conceded 4 goals at home to f*cking Shrewsbury. Although I'm not sure why I should care anymore as the players clearly don't.
