What can NA realistically say? He's stuck with the current shower until the summer and he knows it.
He's left with 2 options:
1) Slate them every week - which will result in poisoning the atmosphere
2) Remain positive and do the best with what he has
I've said it before take everything he says and add 'but the current lot aren't good enough' on the end.
On another note; he's openly stated he wants to play expansive football but when he tried we got hammered. We now play anything but expansive football and an upturn in results have followed. This shows that NA has realised (sometime ago) the limitations of the resources at his disposal and changed the playing style to suit.
Actions speak louder than words.... So whilst he stays positive in front of the press his actions suggest otherwise.
I was taught... Praise in public and bollock in private.
If he's backed by our board expect big changes in the summer in both style and personnel. In the meantime write this season off and anything we do get is a bonus.
