I think it will be extremely difficult for him at Championship level. Though if he does it will most likely be an header/tap in/open net - if not like this and he actually scores a decent goal then fair play and will be funny as fuck

Clearly, the last 4 years were all a fever dream. I mean.. come on, really?
A boyhood blade and former player returns to shake us from our stupor and leads us from the doldrums of League one to a top 10 Premier league side, with other boyhood Blade Billy Sharp banging in goals for fun and giving Wednesday a spanking along the way, leaving them in our wake as they slowly collapse?

It was clearly all too good to be true, a silly childhood fantasy, no less.

In actuality, we're in Adkins 5th season, currently perched just outside the relegation zone in League 2, and badly need some strength and presence up front to bolster our forward line. Nigel is still chirping on about positivity, room for improvement (a room which has now ballooned in size to about the scale of the sistine chapel) and something or other about geese.

Hence the call for Adebayo Akinfenwa, the man, the mountain, the legend, who can save our season and prevent our plummet into non-league.

I say all this, because it's just about the only context in which signing this player makes any fucking sense*
