I agree, i don't see what he can offer to us and this is made even more disappointing by the fact that we have paid through the nose for a player that has given us very little return for our investment.

Still, the goal against wednesday is some reward i suppose.

I'd rather have a quality striker than a striker who's doing poor and who will only be remembered for scoring with his dreads on his debut and a great goal against the Pigs.

But surely the point is that we already have an abundance of strikers waiting for their chance, we need quality in the middle of the park to try and create a few goal scoring opportunities - otherwise it would make no difference if we had Ronaldo up front.

well said. the fact of the matter is we can't afford a striker that can finish everytime they get a chance, we need to spend on a player to create more chances for the strikers we have.
