100% people may despise it but as you go further up the ladder the more it is a part of the game. Gamesmanship is as part of the game as anything else within this division. Its not what anyone wants to see but giving the opposition the advantage with it is pure naivety.

And when's that going to be? We've seen for the past few years it's been a prominent thing, players buying freekicks from the slightest of contacts. I'm not talking throwing yourself on the deck the second they come near you. The quality of referees across the board are pretty shambolic if we're honest, and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I’m in no way confident that it will change...I just prefer to give my support to a team who don’t resort to such tactics. I have a feeling that our manager holds similar values as well and see this as a positive.

And he gets all of them! We need to do it more in the box. Their penalty was the softest one ive ever seen

Don't blame the players or the referees it the powers that be who are to blame messing around with the rules they messed about with the offside rule then they took out tackling so players feel contact and go to ground 8 out of 10 times they get the free kick making the game non contact what's better to get fans off there seats than a 50/50 tackle the only other thing is a goal I'm afraid football as we know it has changed and it's not for the better

Personally I would scrap VAR, keep goal line technology and use video evidence to punish diving and shirt pulling retrospectively.
