As many of you know, we're in regular contact with the club regarding off-the-field matters and we often raise concerns and questions that we've seen posted on the forum or been asked about.
Sheffield United, as part of a major UEFA directive, have a Supporters Liaison Officer in John Garrett. Whilst he can be contacted directly via [email protected] - we're also in regular contact with John and are happy to continue to collate, pass on and discuss any issues, questions or feedback with the relevant parties.
As part of the contact we have and in keeping with the ethos of the forum, the aim is not to claim to talk on behalf of anyone, but to offer another channel to ensure the thoughts and feelings of the wider fan-base are passed on and are heard.
It's obviously key that this process is a two way thing, which means any changes, responses and actions will be chased and reported back on.
Whilst obviously the most talked about and essentially the core concern of any football club is what happens on the pitch, this isn't the remit of this section, we'll not be taking people's concerns to the club about formations and systems or which players they do or don't like - that's the remit of the football management staff and can be addressed in any "meet the manager" style events.
So please feel free to discuss all off-the-field matters in here, it's not just for issues to be raised in meetings and contact with the club. Anything in here will be made available to the club for their digestion.
