Having had a chat with my mate who is a laywer and gets to hear what's going on and has worked with the club. He explained that the payments are locked into the 50% purchase of the club. I.e. the prince is legally obliged to pass over the funds. The bad news is that the payments are staged not a huge lump straight away.
Would make sense to me that as 50% owner of that part of the utd empire he would have to match Kev's input and vice versa.

So it used to be every manager had to travel out to Belgium, and now it's Paris.

No wonder we're having to buy fucking League 2 players with all the bastard travel expenses

What's wrong with Woodall Services?

The bridge gets a bit drafty

The bog roll prince has emerged into the public glare from the dark interior of the Al Saud Death Star twice, now, since we went up. Once to parade the trophy onto the pitch after the Chesterfield game, and now tweeting (!) with a slightly stoned looking Wilder in Paris.

What do we read into this new determination to share the limelight, and be visibly associated with SUFC ? Me, I'm "thinking Liverpool" :)

He's out of his government role now so can focus back on us and his business(s)

It's a JV (Joint Venture) Agreement I suspect. You can tell Kev is a commercial property developer! They love em! ;)

Not sure I like some of the replies to his tweets . I can't understand Arabic but anything with two Leeds players in it smiling at each other gets me very worried
there were comments from what seem to be Leeds fans in there asking him to buy Leeds Utd. Also plenty from Saudis suggesting he should give a couple of Saudi players a go - although I have to say that the Arabic to English translation on Twitter is diabolical.

The Prince has just seen the Vegas trip Peroni bar bill...............
and in the photo is telling Chris,
"I'm very sorry but the lads have just drunk next seasons players funds..."

The Prince will fund a decent transfer kitty, but even he's baulked at the cost of a Large Latte and a Cheese Baguette at Woodall.

Guarantee Wilder is still a bit pissed from Vegas.

I think he will stump up the goods in terms of transfer monies, everyone can see what Wilder has done for this club and where with the right ingredients we will go, I feel good times are back at the lane, and I am for once excited for next year just a shame we have the closed season for so long, would be great to carry on the momentum, bring on the championship. UTB

IIRC KM is not domiciled here for tax and can only spend a limited number of days in the UK (30?). I would guess most of those days are spent watching the Blades and any meetings (SUFC or Scarborough) take place outside of the UK.

He's back in the UK mate now full time I believe but tbf I'd accept him paying for the hire of the Tony Battersby suite at Farm Road Club.

He looked at Leeds before he bought in to us. So they've had their chance.

He says's he's happy to, but doesn't want to clash with Dominoes night.
