We need a miracle stretch to get that lot playing.
Tom, most players we sign decent or not turn out poor, yeah there are exceptions out there, che included, Che turned out to be a cash cow and not a first team regular player for us along with numerous others.
 
He's only got a year left on his contract, he'll be affordable.
 
Done well for them the last couple of seasons. Big and good in the air, strong, reasonably quick and scores from corners...however he's prone to dropping major clangers. We should have signed Mawson who played a full season there on loan before Barnsley snapped him up.
 
Mawson was a huge fuk up by the club. I was desperate for Utd to sign that lad before the pit dwellers came in for him and lo and behold hes had a stormer since he went there and got clubs queuing up for h and worth 10 times what they payed for him. Utds scouting network really is the bees bollox isnt it.

If the Bee in question supports the Blades then yes he has Bollox my friend and is probably giving if wings deep to the queen bee most nights and drinkin amber nectar in large quantites (other than when he is out with the lads stinging wasps n shit). If he like buzzin round the flowers in S6 then hes probably a bit suspect in the bollox dept for a bee and is into flower arranging and says things like 'do you think my bum sting looks big in this brown and yellow trouser set'. All the geezer Bees are Blades. Fact.
 

Someone we should have been in for right from the very start. Unfortunately we don't tend to do things that improve the chances of success. Who wants success anyway?

We were in the running for Mawson and offered him a contract. He chose Barnsley for (credit to him) footballing reasons. He was well and truly won over by Lee Johnson.
 
He has been suggested before and I think would be a decent signing for us.

A highly rated player, only proven at L2 but young enough to improve further (unlike Wright).

Of the other clubs linked, Reading have just splashed £1m on Luke Moore and Wigan already have about 6 CBs.

However, being another left-sided CB would go against what Wilder has said he's after.
