My HT comment was that Barnsley are awful and we are just better. Nothing changed my mind 2nd half. We are a truly poor team and managed to let an awful team score 2 and nearly come back.

We were lucky at 2 nil up not to be pegged back to 2-2.

The same suspects keep putting in average to poor performances in and still getting a shirt. 14th is about our level.

Agree with all your points especially the point about the team. I see no cohesive unit in this group of individuals and whilst the best teams have one or two game changers they are still effective as a unit, as a team, and are bloody hard to beat. The skill of a manager is to create something that is greater than the sum of its parts. Currently this is not the case and that has been my big question mark over Slav. I am still not convinced he is capable of creating a team.

We'll see mate. I know it's become a bit of a cliche about his teams taking time to click, but it is true. Fulham were still in 17th position in late November the season he took them up. I am not so sure on Watford.

It might just be a case of him struggling to get his ideas across at first, maybe. In the meantime we are going to have to rely on that handful of players to dig out results.

Some will insist upon focussing on the the last 20 minutes, which admittedly was horrendous, against a truly awful team. But they found a 2nd wind just as we seemed to think it was sown up.

At the end of the day, it was 3 deserved points, with some lovely play (at times) by us.

We are just a frustrating team at the moment. Sublime in places, then woefully sloppy in others, and incredibly weak against. direct teams.

I really would think about signing another CB to keep Egan and Davies honest (unless Lopata is ready to step up?) and a midfield shithouse (unless Guedioura is the answer?).

Makes you wonder why addy is not even making the bench ,why give him a wage if you wernt gonna play him ??

I am still not convinced he is capable of creating a team." - he's largely creating a team from Wilder's poor striker signings, patch up loanees (one of whom is outstanding) and has found faith in certain players who are making the best of a bad situation. He also had the sense to look at Ndiaye and realise he has a big part to play in the first 11. I think he deserves the chance to build his own squad before being overly judgemental. My fear is he goes before he has the chance and end up with somebody not up to the job.
