I'm hearing Wilder could not speak to players after today's crappy efforts. That's because he's feeling the result like a supporter and not like a manager.
Any manager worth his salt would have been in the dressing room telling each and every player where and when they went wrong. Anyone who he felt hadn't given 100% should get a right ear full. Anyone who had made stupid errors needs telling. Anyone not playing to the required tactics needed telling. Any good manager would strike whilst the irons hot.
Trying to think like a manager, whilst really just thinking like a supporter will not work. Wilder has to choose between management and supporting because quite clearly the two don't mix.
