To the chorus of "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'" by The Righteous Brothers

We've got that Adams Feelin'
Whoa that Adams Feelin'
We've got that Adams Feelin'

Now it's gone, gone, gone.....
(as we pocket a moderate transfer fee)
that last line scans beautifully IIYB

What was that song the blokes behind me were singing for about ten minutes at Peterborough in the first half? Something about "The greatest strike force in the world..." to the tune of the old Simmo song (I think) (considering they sang it continuously for those ten minutes I didn't do a very good job of picking it up).

Bloody hell, it'll be half time when we finish singing that. Also my Spanish is not that good either.

To be fair I think it's only a couple of verses on constant repeat.

"Brazil, Tell Me How It Feels,
To Be Bossed Around In Your Own Home,
I Swear That Even If Years Pass,
We Will Never Forget,
That Diego Out-Skilled You,
That Cani Surprised You,
You Are Crying Since Italy Till Today,
You Are Going To See Messi,
The World Cup Will Be Ours,
Maradona Is Greater Than Pelé"

According to the internet, at any rate.

Seems a bit random, probably dont translate that well

They gave him stupid names
They come to watch his games
They're fast achieving fame
The Adams Family

We are never ever ever, selling Che'y Adams!

To the tune of the old Doris Day classic, "Que Sera Sera"

Che sera sera
Whatever will be, will be
He'll be gone by January
Che sera sera

Well I hope not of course!!

Something to the tune of the Adams family... Obviously

A cross field ball from Reedy,
The ball comes in from Flynny,
He's powerful and speedy,
Che Adams for the Blades.

With Brayford or with Freeman
The Lane is where we see 'em
The greatest football team
Che Adams for the Blades.

(Feet)
(Beat)
(Repeat)

A tackle from Chris Basham
Upfront to Connor Sammon
To Sharpy or to Matt Done
Che Adams for the Blades.

The version our fellow Blades have made up is very good but doesn't all 'fit' for me, it's abit of a waffle trying to get all the names in there -

Oh oh oh oh oh oh
We have the best strike force in the world
Connor Sammon and Che
Billy Sharp and Jose
And Diego De Girolamoooooo!

Much prefer it as -

Follow follow follow,
Sheff United's the team to follow,
We've got Connor Sammon,
Sharp & Adams,
& Diego De Girolamoooo

Not that I'm overly fussed :)

Nothing is going to beat that as a Bad Moon Rising inspired football chant.

Quick attempt at a Blades version, though it better to take it down the route of 'Ain't got a barrel of money'

Bladesmen rising

I see boring football
I see players on their way.
I see third division football.
I see money thrown away.

Don't go down the lane,
Well it's bound to take your life,
There's a Bladesman on the rise.

I hear we sold Jamie Murphy.
I know that Che could be next.
I fear Billy never scoring.
They fear that Che is on a Run.

Don't go down the lane,
Well it's bound to take your life,
There's a Bladesman on the rise.

I've cracked it, gents...

Tune: No Other Way, Blur.

There's no other Che
There's no other Che
All that you can do
Is watch him play
[REPEAT]

Hi Hi Hi-o
We've got a strike force that's smashing
there's Billy and Connor Jose and Che
and somebody's in for a thrashing .......

I'm sure I heard 'It's all about the Che, bout the Che - Che Adams' coming from the back of the kop on Saturday?

To the tune of Bank Robber by the Clash...

My eyes have seen
Che Adams
He'll tear down your defenses
He just loves to score a goal
And fill up all our senses
Ohhh,ohh,ohhohoh
Ohhh,ohh,ohhohoh
Ohhh,ohh,ohhohoh
Super Che Adams.

Or just the ole,ole chant for something more simple...Oh Che,oh Che,oh,Che,oh Che..

Sung to the tune of Dean Martin's Volare:

Che Adams Whoa-oh
Che Adams Whoa-oh-oh-oh
He plays for Sheffield United
He makes the other teams frightened...
(repeat ad nauseam)

OK the last line is a bit shit and corny, but you get the drift - something simple and catchy.

The one that end with "And Diego De Girolamo" – the most Bladey of Bladey songs I've heard.

"Yesterday, promotion didn't seem so far away.
Now the Blades have gone and sold our Che
Oh, I believe in yesterday.

Suddenly, we're not half the team we used to be.
There's no Che Adams where he used to be
Oh, yesterday came suddenly.

Why he had to go, I don't know, they wouldn't say.
They did something wrong, now I long for yesterday.

Yesterday, football was such an easy game to play.
Now they've given half the side away
Oh, I believe in yesterday.

Mm mm mm mm mm mm mm"

Prove me wrong Blades!

Alternatively, to the tune of "It's a Beautiful Day" by Michael Buble:-

"Hey hey hey
He's our wonderful Che and I can't stop myself from smiling
If he's playing then we're scoring
And we're winning now, not drawing

He's our wonderful Che, the Blades are up, the music's playing
And even if it started raining
You won't hear the Blades complaining
'Cause we're glad he's not the one who got away
He's our wonderful Che"

Swap Ray for Che and I think it somes up how some of us feeling now with all the scouts sniifing about the shop!
