I've just had an email from a mate who told me the following interesting/funny true story:
I had a few beers with a top class American poker player last night.
This guy could read body language like a book and proved it to me in real time but I won't go into that as it was an experiment involving......
Anyway, I played Blackwells' interview with the BBC after the Boro' match for him on my lap top.
His comment was that he thought Blackwell had something to hide: At the end of the interview Blackwell touches his face and looks away, a clear 'tell'!
Now you must understand this chap is a Yank and knows nothing about football or Blackwell and I only played the interview, not the highlights.
But then I played the interview that Strappon did before the Pigs match: "who the hell is this guy?" was his response! He went on to say he blinks excessively and only maintains eye contact briefly. "Don't do business with this guy you can't believe a word he says, a real slippery customer!"
Well I suppose it's nothing we didn't already know but it was quite an evening learning to read people.
