Hypocrite? Moi? :D

One of the reasons this forum was set up was so all the bloody whinging and whining posts could stay in one place because I for one, am sick of bloody reading most of them.

It isn't the football, the manager or the team that's casting a downer on this season so far for me... it's the fans!

"I'll give Robbo ten games"... oh will you now? How generous. Didn't realise there were so many Chairman of SUFC empowered with making these informed decisions.

The people who clapped Steven Kabba on when we went to Watford on Saturday were the same people who booed Danny Webber off around us?! Explain that one!

I understand people's frustrations but really, most people are sounding like arrogant wankers at the moment more used to following teams who believe they have a divine right to success.

Are we the new Leeds fans?!

I wonder if we've got the mardiest, most pessimistic fans in the league, ever? I mean, I know we've been shit on many times; by the club, by the league, by players and managers alike - but even so! I still get excited about going to matches, and not so I can boo the players!

We do have an odd bunch of fans, (some of you may even think I'm included in that :D) but the continuous negativity that surrounds everything our fans ever do is quite depressing to be honest.

i wouldnt mind fans booing the players, if they could answer me one question,

In what way does booing help the players on the pitch, get back into the game?

the lads dont loose on purpose, we can clearly see they are trying, so y not get behind them?

regardless of previous results im still optimistic for saturday and i think i good win, will should all the moaners up, for a week at least :)

nooooo wolves fans are the worst trust me they boo if no one has scored after 5 mins.

oh yeah

grrr grrr grrr

I think we are all suffering from relegation and the depression that follows. Sky TV certainly must take some of the blame for ruining football by flooding it with money and moving the game away from its real roots.

That said, we have only played two games, its a long season and we have good squad.

I now have decided it might be best just to take my mp3 and drown the nerks out

OIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

There is a positive part of the forum for comments like this ;) haha

I just forgot where I was , its an age thing, please accept my humble apologies, it wont happen again, I promise to whinge with the best of you in here.

........

i have to agree with most of the comments but most of all about sky tv ruining football i love watching football at the lane above anything else but i also love to watch man u -v- chelsea on a sunday afternoon in a pub the same as i like to watch finland u19's -v- russia u19's sat on a sofa everybody knows there is too much money involved now even liverpool chelsea arsenal and man u fans....................solution anyone

Hang on! As Blades, we're born pessimists, and but for 90 minutes while I'm watching matches (or listening if I can't get to away matches), I reserve the divine right to shout, scream and bawl the bloody odds, and whine as much as I like :D.

I never boo the players though, I just don't see the point. The thing for me is that we've been kicked in the teeth so much, whether it be by the board, or lady bleeding luck, I just don't know what optimism is.

Actually, I don't moan that much, and can usually find at least one positive from matches (Swansea last year was the first time in ages I couldn't), but I just prefer to stay in the world of doom.

"Blessed is s/he who expects nothing, for s/he will never be disappointed."

There is a pillock sitting near me who seems only capable of shouting "into him" and "tackle him" regardless of what's happening on the pitch. And he's ginner.

The booing used to piss me off back when certain members of our fans used to boo Wayne Allison ON to the pitch, i thought that was disgraceful.
People say that players should rise above it because they get paid so much but they r only human and it will affect them.

Monty has always been a scapegoat, a lot of people don't see what he brings to the team. People are turning on him already
