They were a hard, retro kind of team to beat, especially going one down.

Retro is a good way of describing it.
Reminded me of 80's style football, with Wimbledon and Howard Wilkinson's Sheff Wed.
In the 1st half Luton smothered us. We just couldn't get going.

We didn't play that well, Berge and McAtee were really poor on the night but maybe it was the opposition that made them both suffer.

The positives are: At least it's been an education for McAtee tonight, bet he's never played in a match like that before
The other positive is any clubs interested in buying Berge will have all cleared off after tonight.
You can safely assume.....Berge will be staying.

Snidey, horrible, niggly, dirty side. Reminded me a bit of some of the old South American international teams of the 70' and 80's like Uruguay, Argentina and Chile.

Wimbledon, Millwall, all rolled into one!!

Chile came to Wembley a few years ago and played exactly like Luton did. It’s effective no doubt but, I can’t stand to watch it.

We looked a bit nesh and leggy. Got bullied first half but battled better second half. Berge, Lowe, RND, Norwood, Ndiaye tired really badly second half. I'd have brought more subs on earlier. Doyle gave us a platform second half but our forward players (goal aside) had run their race.

It was a good point. They play incredibly physically and to be fair, we stood up to it well.

The first half was essentially with 10 men as well. McAtee looked completely lost. He will be a good player as there were some nice little touches or quick balls but he seemed like he lost possession every time he had it or was ghosted past when he didn't. He won't have ever encountered anything like that in the Prem U23s so it's a learning curve.

Thought McBurnie did well and battled really effectively bringing others in to play. There were some times in the 1st half where he was behind play or on his heels which look really obvious but that's something that will hopefully kick in with a run of games.

Fingers crossed some imodium sorts Wes out, although well done to Amissah!

I was really Impressed with them tbf. Well organised, high energy and a vocal home crowd. Glad we don't play them every week.

Win all home games..69 points... draw all remainingaway games ...22 points...total of 91 points. Top two. Great plan. Season over. Bring on Man ure.

thought the ref let them get away with lots of manhandling of mcburnie one big push in the second half was ridiculous

a point away at a play off team never too shabby
