Have some patience there are weeks left in the summer window - transfers are complex and take time to complete.

I anticipate our overall spend will be over £50 million dependent upon a keeper coming on loan or permanent
We could easily spend £40 million on one striker at 25 and a keeper at 15 and need another 4 or 5 in addition.

Agreed Weasel, what also helps on the relaxation front is the players we have been linked with are in the right areas of the pitch, the right age and profile and all have the ability to increase in value.

But it's pointless having £35m to spend when, clearly, no players would ever come to sheffield. I mean, we'll be stuck buying locals from pub teams, just like we have so far with players like Berge, Moussett, and Zivkovic.

£18m exc. add ons (about 20m EUR) agreed for Cakir, just need to discuss personal terms. We're at the same personal terms stage with Robinson.

No improved offer on the £12.5m for Ramsdale I mentioned on the 1st of August. Obviously waiting to see if we can finalise the Cakir transfer.

As far as strikers go, Emmanuel Dennis is now top priority.

John Swift - £5m tabled, I expect they will accept that and I don’t see any potential issues at all regarding wages.

I actually believe this, seems quite genuine, what a transfer window we will have if it’s this all true!

Thanks for the update, AR - much appreciated.

My concern with these players is....where is the creative spark? Keepers, a wing back, a defender, a striker. Is Swift really the only 'creative' midfield player we are in for? We can't just rely on an aging McG being fit/in form.
