I think giving up promotion is a bit steep! Especially when we don’t need to. I’m 69 btw.I’d love to see the ages of voters, I’ve got a feeling a lot more younger people won’t be bothered about a cup run compared to older people who’d actually give up promotion for a cup win
The FA Cup is still a bit special for me, at least while we are still in it anyway.
Even with all the hype surrounding them, they are still a non league team and they should be beaten on that score alone. The team we put out against Millwall was just fine, and they were probably more relaxed and enjoyed their football.
In the end it doesn’t matter about the result. It gives the manager a chance to rest and rotate players, with a week to recover before our next league game.
Never forget that winning, and momentum is a good thing. Enjoy it because we will be back to being under pressure for results after this FACup game.
As others have said, the money will come in handy right now.
I trust PH to pick a winning team and let them off the leash.
As a club we have been in much worse places than this. Enjoy it for what it is.
