The measure of a good team is one that wins when it doesn't play well.

We are good, keep saying it and somehow you can convince yourself.

its a great tactic , sneaking a winner in the 92 nd minute
cuts the chances of being pulled back

another great tactic , scoring one more than the opposition
must have played well in parts to not let them score more than us

After Man U and Wigan with virtually the same players, it was always going to be like that. Fact that they still managed a 91st minute winner is an absolute credit. That might not have played well but you won't remember that come season end.

I will if we miss autos or playoffs by 1 goal.

His set up and tactics are causing the poor performances.

You'll have to forgive him, he's set up and settled on Mars at the moment.

14 points from last 21, 4 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat says he must be doing something right. And that defeat was very unjust. First half was as good as they have played for many years.

Then you can blame Billy for missing that injury time one at Wigan :)

:-)

I think Billy is becoming like the King of Thailand or whoever it is: to be treated with reverence and it should be prohibited to joke about him.

I remember the season of the Burnley Hull game when we were promoted on goals scored, overheard some fans after the game trying to think of what, at the time, seemed like our most meaningless goal of the season - which had in fact turned out to be crucial.

Credit To Adkins I think for instilling a never give up attitude.

Yeah i thought that when we lost to man yoo in the 93rd minute last week

We'll never know. That was Tuesday 15th May, 1984 (Burnley 0 v 2 Hull City). Not so much which goal was most crucial, but I'd say Atkins' (no relation :D) late winner at Rotherham on April 21st, was pretty crucial.

Edwards consolation goal in the 3-1 defeat at Bolton. Our penultimate game of the season. A few hours later Hull lost at already relegated Port Vale

Just got back. First half performance was ok, second half a disgrace. Kept losing the ball, defending too deep, little movement off the ball. Still celebrated madly when we got the winner. Do feel sorry for Colchester. Both they and Crewe lost to last minute goals. These things happen when you are at the bottom.
