In the Bleak Midwinter
Frosty winds made moan
Only two points on the board
Life seemed so forlorn

Points had been dropped, every game
Points and points and more
Chris did not have a plan B
We could only scrape the odd draw

I look back on happier times
For four years all went well
But then into the Premier League
'Twas time to buy, not sell

The Prince have Chris 100 million plus
I remember thinking, 'Oh fuckin hell'
He didn't seem to have a clue
The purchases did not go well

Now we're propping up the league
Will the Prince give him one last try
As we approach the JTW
Is it time for do or die

If I were a billionaire
I would do my part
But what can I give them
Give Dem Blades my heart
