This one is the best red & white shirt we've had;

Although our current home shirt is my number one favourite out of every shirt we've ever had, even though I think it should be an away shirt.

Historicalkits.co.uk - shows by club every kit worn by season.

Errrrr um, the first kit worn in season 1889-90 is errrrr not quite as some may expect!

Right any kit with Wards on the front is a vote winner. But not without black trim.

Best away shirt was the all white 97 Hopkins disaster shirt. Primed for the premiership but lost in the last minute.

Only shirt made in sheffield was the hobbott ones, the Ajax and the the space invader Bentley sponsored one. Made In sheffield matters to me and these Abbeydale road beauties deserve maximum respect.

But best ever is the Sabella round neck,last one without sponsorship?? And a beauty.

What lets it down is the badge.
If it was the the proper round badge then it would be a two thumbs up job. As it is with the shield effort as the badge it gets marked down to an OK for me.

Time to ditch this feckin shirt...

Agree. It's not great. Ok as an away shirt but, again, what lets it down is the badge.
If it was the the proper round badge then it would be acceptable as an away shirt.

I'm not keen.

I like the current away strip, though.

BTW - we are just as shit in this year's lime green as the 126th anniversary offering, so I'm not entirely convinced the shirts are to blame. Just a thought.

There was one a month ago in mint condition that went for about 150. I would've bid on this, but i'll probably pass given the seller hasn't washed it. Bit of a red flag.
