They seem to line up like a Clough cup team. Soak up pressure then counter attack with pace.
Agree Fleetwood were functional and very efficient revelling in their underdog tag BUT
They've hardly dominated any matches this season and tend to defend well and slowly stifle the oppostion.
They are the only team that deserved their win against us and showed up our tactical frailties (without Hanson) But I would NOT say they have been the best team to come to Bramal Lane.
Regards the top 6, the team that have been getting excellent reviews is Bradford City
There are similar to us in that they play good football and dominate the opposition almost every match.
They have more possession and more shots at goal but struggle to score. They are impressed with their new signing Charlie Wyie and many Bantams still believe if they click they can still finish 2nd.
Also I totally agree about Clough. Negative Nigel revels in the underdog tag and is great setting his teams up to defend and counter BUT for a club like Sheff Utd in league 1 with all the expectation to attack it didn't suit his style. Not surprised he's doing well at Burton though.
