I was of that mindset until watching us the other day. We seem to have more zip about us recently.

Honestly not bothered. We have surpassed the lowest points total ever so if I could forfeit the remaining games I would. Dreadful season that I’ll be glad to see the back of.

One thing I’ve also learned is that the novelty of the PL wears off. It’s fun and exciting when you’re winning from time to time and competing. It’s a miserable place that you get sick of when you’re getting beat every week. It feels like everything is against you and that you’ll never be able to compete financially. I also hate the punditry and lazy media coverage on clubs like ours.

I’m honestly looking forward to being back in the Championship next season. If we come back up, great, I want them to achieve as much as they can....if they don’t, it honestly won’t break my heart. There’s something a bit shit about being a struggling PL club that I won’t miss.

Besides, I go to matches/switch on my TV to watch Sheffield United, not the glamour clubs.

I think we might benefit from quite a few teams switching off a bit once safety starts getting secured.

Soon as teams like Palace, Wolves etc realise they're safe and can't make Europe, we might just see a bit of slackness and that's where we might bag a few points here and there
