Haha! Well I can see the attraction. Only the die-hards in attendance, smaller crowds... Or is that just the home games? :)

Win or lose, it's on the booze. At least with away games, the day out has as much bearing on enjoyment as the match itself.

Jeez, that's one chip on the shoulder you're harbouring. Worksop's not quite that bad fella.

You'll have to give me some context. Un;less, of course, you're suggesting that at some point in the last decade we haven't made a few superb decisions. Or that Robson wasn't a rubbish manager.

Somehow, I seem to remember that you are actiually a fan of Robson. Which sort of says it all.

I wasn't aware anyone had to run their posts past you for approval before hitting submit...

Some people are beyond fed up about United. Some people are trying to see the positives in an increasingly dire situation they have no power to change.

Be a bit boring if we were all saying the same.

Because when Robson was here, we witnessed the systematic and very quick destruction of a half decent team, all for one humongous price. The quicker we lanced that boyle, despite your and literally 2 other fans incredible protestations, the better.

Now we're suffering the long term demise that blowing all that money brought about. I've long since become used to us being tin pot again. I can see the bright side. You live in Worksop, so I'll forgive you for not being able to...:D

As I've said this season watching United, the away days are great, and that's after seeing one point from a possible 30 away from home, at Cov. How good would they be if we actually had a decent team?

The thought of 8 new grounds doesn't excite me one bit. The thought of travelling an average of about 350 miles in a round trip dont excite me either. I just hope that Brighton, Bournemouth and Southampton all go up to be honest. Scunny and Preston going down won't be too bad, and if Chesterfield and Rotherham go up, perhaps Bury too, then at least there'll be a few away matches closer to home too.

Belive me fella, the tongue was firmly in cheek. I really am not looking forward to life in England's division three. For some bizarre reason, I do fancy a trip to Rochdale, even though I already know the journey home will be rubbish.

"I don't go away old chap."

I don't go to many these days, but have plans to go to quite alot next season. As the original poster stated, he's got 8 new grounds to tick off, I worked it out for me about 11. Not done that many new grounds watching United since the last time we were in the Third division.

"For some bizarre reason, I do fancy a trip to Rochdale"

Ditto - missed the away one in the Fourth division (won 1-0, Edwards scored).

If we go down, think that may sway us to start doing away games again.

Don't count your chickens yet lads. Mickey will pull the rabbit out the hat. Just watch.

Did you mean "Mickey will part the waves" or "Mickey will turn water into wine" - or something else more equally realistic?

:)
