last time we finished a season on the 5th of May.....................................

For those who can't remember the pigs had to get a draw at swine cottage v florist to stay up and we had to go to Leicester and win to gain promotion.

Well we obviously must have lost, because according to some posters on here that's what we ALWAYS do in crucial games.

The difference this time though is that Wednesday are slightly better. IE, they've a chance of going up, not going down.

hmmm another one to chuck in the pot, Wednesday only had to beat Palace to stay up at Hillsborough on the last day few season ago and we know what happened then, maybe its not just us who struggle in big games to get over a finishing line.

Yes, there is still a glimmer of hope. Obviously the odds are very much against us, but as I've said on another thread, if we could get ahead early at Exeter that could put pressure on them. It is now out of our hands and their's to lose. That might just alter the mindset a bit. Exeter might be 250 miles from Sheffield, but every Wednesday fan at Hillsborough will be aware of how we are doing, and therefore so will their players. You just never know. Unlikely, but possible.
