...my 2nd daughter was born.

In other news, I was watching the Blades beat Cardiff 1-0 to gain automatic promotion to the Premiership. ( on teletext from Worksop maternity suite!!)

Now look how far we have come in the short space of time.

The one thing McCabe was right about then was his statement that we wouldn't be seeing promotion celebrations again :(

I was there that day - think it was Good Friday, might be wrong. Listening to Leeds match on way back up to Sheff. Great day............followed by a few better ones, followed by several miserable ones!

My 1st daughter was born 05/04/2006 and that was the 1st match after she came out of hospital i sat with her and watched it with her she now comes to the matche with me and my dad her 1st game she went to was Blackburn in the premiership 0-0 at the Lane, this will be her 3rd season on the kop
its hard to believe 5 years on i will be taking her to watch Yeovil and Dagenham & Redbridge ? ? ?

yes it was good friday danny webber 1 - 0 and leeds could only draw with Reading on the saturday to confrim our promotion.

2 years yesterday ago my boy was born, I missed the Forest at home game, we were looking at being a possible automatic promotion team, attending the party that nearly was, down at Palace followed.

2 years, that's all, WTF happened???? How could it go so wrong so quickly.

I got a signed shirt at the time Lupoli signed the Forest programme to mark the day as he was on the cover, not the best striker in the world but we could do with him now, I look at the shirt and see the names on there and it really is saddening to see what we had and what we've now got in such a small space of time.

That must have been the best day ever anyone could have, Congratulations. I hope your daughter is doing fantasic and hope you can look forward to a good fun summer with her and your family. Dont dwell too much on our failings as Blades. You know by the time she realises what a Blade is, we will be good again. Its just the Worksop bit that worries me;)

Worksop.....I lived in Retford at the time so it had to be bloody Worksop.
