Player Suggestion 5 Players we should consider signing

Ryan Tafazoli: One of the stand out players for Mansfield last season, the centre half would represent a signing where we were weak last season.

Dean Cox: The Leyton Orient man may not want to leave but with a year left on his contract and with a proven record in league 1 would prove to be an excellent signing.He has just returned from a long term injury so would be a risk but Cox brings goals from midfield and would be the ideal fit.

Ricky Holmes: Holmes was one of the stand out performers last season with a plethora of goals and assists to his name. He can also play up top and drop deeper aswell.

George Moncur: He would be an excellent adittion a real threat coming from midfield and is someone Chris Wilder would no doubt be aware of his talents.

Gordon Greer: In the twighlight of his career he might be, but Greer would be a classy and experienced signing in a leaky blades defence. If the blades could pull this one off,it would be a real coup.

Apart from that we need to concentrate on the defence we have one first teamer in defence in Brayford.

Chiwell started a few games for Leicester last season. I think they will either sell him, Arsenal are apparently interested. If he is loaned it will be to the championship.

Ajose I would assume will go to the championship too.

What about Danny Ward from Liverpool? 22yr old goalkeeper, looks set to leave after Karius' arrival. Already made his first senior Wales appearance, but had loans with Morcambe and Aberdeen. May be worth a season long loan with an option.

Totally agree. That Football League website is absolute garbage and my 8 year old could write better articles than some of the stuff on there. But they always follow that "5 reasons..." and try and get you to click on the pictures because it makes them money every time you click. Worth avoiding.

I think Danny Ward has been released by liverpool along with Bogdan. I know they released 2 one being Bogdan, pretty sure Ward was the other.
