I would be happy with either Choudhury or Charles on loan. If we were buying I would prefer Charles because of his age and I think there is more potential for improvement in him over the medium term.

Charles would probably cost similar to cannon. Although I wouldn’t doubt our owners would be willing to spend it.

I still think its more likely to be Choudhury than Charles on the basis that Wilder said they were still in for all the top targets and they all wanted to come here. He first mentioned this before Charles was recalled.

It's possible he knew Charles would be recalled but I would lean to it more likely to be Choudhury.

I probably would prefer Charles on balance but I wont be upset if we sign Choudhury.

I don't want Oxlaide Chamberlain either. Too old, too injury prone and probably expensive still salary wise.

And Choudrhy hasn't played this season but Charles is match-fit.

Think Ndiaye that first season.
Take the pressure of Serki and tell him to aim for 20 good minutes every week. He may start at few but let him develop and enjoy success against tiring defenders maybe some who are already in a booking. There’s no rush with the lad and he can have a fair fight for the first team shirt next season.

Clarke is an interesting shout. Don't think anyone else has mentioned his name?
It fits a lot of the criteria Wilder has been talking about in terms of experience of a promotion run-in and is also 'position specific'.

Biggest signing for me has to be CH. since Soutts went we are down to only 2 CBs (I know Gilchrist can play there but not what we need). Last season we had the worst goals against in EPL history and who were our CHs? Anel and Robbo. This season Soutts acme in as a great traditional CH dominant in the air and a real rock in the middle of defence. Result the best or nearly best defence in Champ. Since he went we don’t look nearly as solid. We must get the right man in as CH and even then we don’t have much cover if he gets injured. Maybe Keane but whoever we have to get it dead right. This is top priority for me,
