Trying to remember the last time I spunked up a wall ?

Think it was Butlins at Filey in 1972 . The girl I was with - from Sutton in Ashfield I recall , fked off due to extreme boredom
I was there following week, was it chalet 23B? Housekeeper promised it was starch they’d used ont sheets and a bit got splashed. Like fecking sheet of plywood them sheets.

Thought pigs were linked with them two
I was surprised there had been no mention on here of either of them so maybe my colleague or whoever told them got the wrong end of the stick then and it is that lot they’re going to

Charles is going back to the pigs according to some accounts. I am not convinced he would have wanted to come here anyway. Very few players have ever crossed the divide mid season, and he seems to be enjoying it with them, so fair play.

I said from the start that I would be happy with Choudhury as the CM signing, as he gives us a decent back up for Souza. Assuming Cannon and Kenny are also going to happen, we just need a brick shithouse of a CB and we are good to go.

Makes no sense to recall a player, then allow him back there, so its likely Chansiri was just being a cunt with the "oh and Charles has been recalled". I think it was probably/likely agreed at the start of the loan, he'd be there until Jan for a fee and then the loan fee would rise for the 2nd half of the season.

Chansiri making a meal out of it, as he does.

1) BBD
2) Tom Cannon
3) JJK
4) Choudhury/Charles/Doyle
5) Dunne, original source (FLW) is questionable but if we can, we should buy him, he's ready for the big move to take his career to the next level.

I've never been to Butluns at Filey, but I was on holiday in Filey when England won the world Cup.

That wasn't 1972 though.
We delayed our annual departure to the rented caravan Filey in 1966 (I was 8) to watch the WCF.
And we were there in 1970 when the news broke of Bobby Moore & the bracelet.
Wonderful times.
Plenty of sea frets and playing cards waiting for them to clear.
Great sandy beaches though and the scrumptious lunches at the Corner Café.
And the traditional day in Scarborough on the amusements , then the brilliant battle re-enactment in Peasholme Park.

Jimmy Dunne isn't a proper Souttar replacement.
He's a half decent right back that could cover CB in an emergency. He has only ever played well for QPR as a full back.
It would be him or JJK.

I really thought the Souttar replacement would be No.1 on our list, strange how few we've been linked with.

He's always been a CB and has certainly played well at CB at least once because I watched him do so at BL in 2022. He was outstanding. And he's improved since then

It won't be him or Kenny, because they're different sorts of RB. Kenny is a proper one, Dunne is an unconventional one who may not be able to be effective in the same way there in our team

For CB - I quite liked the look of Swansea #6 Darling (albeit he was sent off) very comfortable with the ball, left side which we havent properly replaced since JOC, and the CB at Milwall whos name i wont atempt the spell

I agree, i don't follow that many rumours, but haven't seen much about Centre Halves anywhere. I'd have thought that whilst other positions could be loans to get us through to the summer, the Centre Half would be permanent, like with an RB since Gilchrist will go back in the summer
