As its worked out this Friday is us 4th v bristol city newly placed in 3rd
This is why we wanted a return to the chmpionship. This game has become a real top 6 battle to catch up the leading 2.
There were plenty thinking it might have been 24th v 23rd at the beginning of August .
Personally really looking forward to it as Wilder will be looking for a huge response after Millwall and will
have told the squad his January list might be bigger if fingers are pulled out big time.
We need to convert the many chances we still create and get our mojo sparling for xmas

As per usual, I have to ask you to name the "Plenty" who thought that?

S6 people only (and more in hope probably). The bookies had us mid table, and most Blades had us 12th to 6th on average.

It's a sobering thought that the last time we played them at home, Michael Higdon was making his debut!

Yes, but he scored and we thought he would be decent................reality soon dawned

pre season the bbc had the table ending like this
12 Birmingham City 11.60
13 Cardiff City 12.56
14 Brentford 13.20
15 Nottingham Forest 15.56
16 Sheffield United 15.80
17 Preston North End 16.96
18 Queens Park Rangers 17.52
19 Bristol City 17.84
20 Ipswich Town 18.44
21 Barnsley 20.12
22 Bolton Wanderers 20.36
23 Millwall 22.28
24 Burton Albion 22.88

us at 16th and bristol 19th so a season of struggle for both

Which isn't 23rd/24th like your OP said then....

Yep, a great test and a match to relish. Two proper clubs with good starts under their belts going for it.

And I won't be there because Sky rearranged it for the same time as a gig I bought for months ago.

Tossers.

The first game we've gone into for over a year where I've been slightly apprehensive.

Only slightly though.

A point would be a really good result. Bristol are flying and from what I saw on Saturday night they have the perfect style to cause us headaches.

We have two tough looking away trips to follow this, So we need something on Friday other wise the slide is definitely on and Sunderland on Boxing Day becomes huge.
