It's 48 years to the day since I went to my first Utd game - 27th April 1971 Cardiff 5-1
It was the start of one of my great passions in life and is responsible for so many of my great memories that I will take to my grave.
I know we didn't get promoted that day but I think the overwhelming feeling of everyone who left that night was that it it was a done deal.
I approach today with a huge sense of both excitement and (Becuase it's Utd) nervousness but the omens are surely good. UTB
