Innit. Right now, I am really having to recalibrate upwards my views on how far Wilder can take us. His ambition clearly isn't confined to scrapping around the lower-middle of the Prem for a few seasons.

Very good, and brings up the thing as fans we kind of know, of how can we develop without upsetting our team spirit, and enhance it in the right way, with the right kind of players with the right personality.

I am just sat at home watching SSN, they've just had Solskjaer on reviewing Man Utd's JTW and cuts a very frustrated, beaten figure.

Whatever the recruitment process is there, it clearly is a busted flush if the best they can do is scrape a late deal through for Odion Ighalo and miss out on Josh King.

Compare that to us. We've had a hugely successful JTW. We've protected and improved our squad to a point where even a long-in-the-tooth Blade like me can dare to dream that European football is possible.

Man Utd, Arsenal & Spurs are vulnerable at the moment. Could that free up some space for teams like Us & Wolves to exploit this season?
