We travelled to Old Trafford with our worst squad EVER to face Man Utd in the FA Cup. We were sitting 2 divisions below them. Today, we are 2 points below them.

Wasn't a bad performance to be fair.

Was gutted to lose in the manner we did though.

I remember thinking we had the Man United cup tie and a new Bowie album to relieve the back-to-work blues. Was gutted to lose to the last minute penalty and then Bowie died the next day :-(

I struggle to recall traumatic events but I thought it was Hammond. I think he’d actually had a decent game before that but then spoilt it. Could be wrong though.

Regular reminders like this are needed, so we don't over-react when things don't go to plan. Nothing wrong with constructive criticism, but it is worth remembering how far we have come under CWAK. Amazing.
