4 in 3 out in Jan

Is that the footballing equivalent of one step backwards and two forwards?

Depending on who comes in I think there could be more out, especially in respect of strikers...Hanson, Lavery, Donaldson, Ched, Clarke, Sharp.....bring in Cole and another attacking player and I could see Lavery out as well, probably on loan, maybe even Ched too!

Hasn't CW already hinted that Henegan and Thomas could be loaned in jan??
Also think Hanson n Lavery should be sold, along with Carruthers.

That should be in the twats thread.

Fuck me, what a load of bollocks, but if you send 50% of the population to Uni, what else do you expect?
50% of us to be well educated and in good jobs whilst the other 50% clean our toilets, drive us to work and phone us up about accidents we haven't had.

Apart from:

A) We don't use wingers and Murphy hasn't played competitive football for 12 years
B) We don't need a left Back.

Competition for both full backs plus a wide midfielder in Riley, athleticism & mobility for centre midfield in Leonard. Murphy gives us a second striker, pace and ability to carry the ball and can also play as a wide three or left midfield. Devante gives us pace up top.

But we have 4 full backs? If Freeman back in Jan is anything to go by. Don't see the point in wasting loan wages here. Leonard and Cole I'll give you.

Returning players never really do much.

I think we need at least 2 Central Midfielders - Leonard and somebody else. (Unless Wilder decides to call back Whiteman and assess his progress)
Reckon Cole will happen too.

Outs will probably be Hanson, Carruthers, and one more - permanent deals.

Then possibly fringe players - Thomas, Henegan - out on Loan.

But where do we play Hanson, henegan, donaldson et al

My punt:

IN:
Ryan Leonard - 800k
Joe Riley - Loan
Jamie Murphy - Loan
Devante Cole - 200k

OUT:
Ben Heneghan - Loan
Nathan Thomas - Loan
Caolan Lavery - Loan

Think you may be right on at least a few of those (Cole and Leonard being the most probable) but would have thought Hanson will be departing (he'll want to play games at his age) and really not sure about Riley - why would he swap the captaincy of MUFC's U23s for a bit-part role at Utd? He hardly featured whilst he was here last season and I can't see him getting anywhere close to displacing Stevens or Baldock. That is unless of course Lafferty is pushing for a move and/or Freeman is further away from fitness than initially expected.

I think Slater maybe above Whiteman in the pecking order.

How's about sending Lavery back t'pigs...they could do with a striker! :D
