Anyone remember? Silent...?
End of 4th Div promotion season.
Darlington Sat May 15 (won),
Bradford Mon 17th (only around 40 Blades went) Pennine Challenge (won on pens)
United also sent a team to Barnsley on the same night which also won on pens,
Everton (h) Weds 19th friendly drew 1-1
Wendy (h) Fri 21st County Cup Final won 3-2.
Find it bizarre that 3/4 games were played in the week following the end of the season .
Anyone else go to these games?

Was only 10 but I’ve never heard about this and I agree it’s very unusual.

I’ve definitely never heard of the Pennine Challenge. I assume this was short lived?

I went to all 4 games, the Everton game is where they presented us with the 4th Division Championship trophy

Went to Darlington,went to the Everton game and would surely have gone to the wendy game,but cant remember it.

I think I'm right in saying that was our last ever game in the County Cup.
