Getting our arses handed to us.

Funnily enough, about 40 minutes into the game I used that exact phrase and thought 'I've not heard anyone say that for ages'

Happy with the result based on the game yesterday, they could quite easily have had 6.

Their pen wasn't a pen, our pen wasn't a pen, and we both had blatant penalties turned down later in the game. So, it was even but the ref got every big decision wrong throughout the game. Absolutely terrible.

I can't think of a stand out player for us yesterday, thought we were poor in every area of the pitch. We got completely outclassed by a much better side than ourselves.

There is a third way here. He knows we're not good enough so it doesnt really matter who he plays. With a game thats more winnable on Tuesday assuming Watford can manage to get a game staged, maybe better to leave it and keep the benchwarmers fresh for when he changes the forward line for the 492746th game in a row.

One thing that United have been great at over the years, back to Warnock and Bassett was stifling footballing teams on our day. Its done with hard work and players with limited ability.

It sounded yesterday that we really got a lesson in football and West Brom could have had a hatful.

I never expected us to be challenging the automatics at the start of the season, I thought 6th was possible if we had good runs and luck, but we also need to build a squad and I expected to see some more movement in the window if (when) we sold Killa.

A poor performance yesterday. We created very little. I don't think it was helped though that they got that bizzare penalty so early on. We were playing ok up until that point.

I enjoyed the game to be honest in a strange way, we deserved to lose and were chasing shadows most of the game but with the good away support, and at times comical nature of our play it was quite an entertaining afternoon.

The only annoying thing for me was that having just got it back to 2-1 we concede 40 seconds later! I wouldn't have minded losing 3-1 if they had scored late on but we had about a minute of hope!

All the players were poor yesterday but Stewart, Walker & Henderson take the plaudits for being the three worst performers whilst only Morgan and Bunn came out with any credit.

We actually knocked it around quite well for a short spell in the second half but like I say, we deserved to lose and WBA are a good team.
