Not just us though.
So many teams are going in at half time recently having pretty much won the match.
It's weird.

Glad you’re having fun pal !!!

UTB. Enjoy your many beers tonight

With 10 left I said it was disappointing only to have scored 2, a few minutes later and that lovely move occurred and we scored again.

I does anyone reckon VAR would have ruled out the 3rd for O’Hare’s 2 footed tackle on the ball?!

To be fair someone did say on another thread ( credit to whoever you are ) that Mansfield will have to score 4 because we score 3

And i think i'm right in saying that we've just reached zero GD for the first time this season (someone will hopefully correct me if we'd hit this milestone a few weeks back, but i hadn't noticed it before now).

30 games in

Strictly speaking, we were on zero between the 1st and 4th minutes of the season and from the 14th to the 25th minute. But yes, this is the first time since Bristol City got their second!

Well if we're speaking "strictly", the result wouldn't be official until the final whistle :D

That's a fair point, and my pedantry definitely invited further pendantry! On a REALLY pedantic point, I suspect that the points (and result) aren't formally acknowledged until some time after the final whistle, once the referee's report is submitted, approved and entered.

Over recent games , I've developed the feeling that :
Most players want to be here and are playing "with smiles on their faces";
Most players are giving maximum effort and want to succeed in their own endeavours (whether or not the club can go up);
The famous "connection" with us fans is returning.
We can at the very least begin to look up the table , not down.
The power of positive thinking.
It's intoxicating and enjoyable.
There is a "live for today" attitude which has been very difficult for me to adopt regarding dem Blades.
But it's so refreshing - after the doldrums of "capitulation" relegations and the PO failure.
Who cares if we go up ?
As a mate said at Millwall - you just don't get blood & thunder games like this in the PL.
If we stay down , we've such a wealth of talent with which to trade and find more.
Did we ever get 3 goals amassing 92 points last season ?
I suppose Oxford(H) was one , just to bring my feet back on the ground.

Yes, but there is a tacit approval to publish the results upon the final whistle, therefore my point stands and the GD would've been minus at that point.

Do you have that in writing? :D On that logic though, various newssites 'publish' the tables mid-match, so the GD changes at the instant the goal is scored.

On an unrelated note, I wonder what the most pointless argument in the world is?
