2pm in t'Sportsman

I’m having a clear out of a few older original works that I’ve been hanging on to forr one reason or another and are cluttering up my studio (dining room). Rather than list them all on eBay or stick them on my website at full whack, I thought it’d be cool to sell them via a silent auction. This gives somebody the chance to bag one of my original works at price they think is fair and reasonable.

The first one up for grabs is 2pm In t’Sportsman from my Day at The Lane collection. Its about 500mm wide x 700mm High. Its an acrylic on board. There is some slight damage on the frame which happened in transit between its exhibition at Bramall Lane and my house! The damage is shown in the photo’s. It comes as seen!

Aside from the several thousands of pounds I raised for very worthy charities and about a thousand pounds into SUFC's coffers via print sales last tax year, plus a few quid Foxy and Linz's way, it puts food in my kids bellies. Silent auction, no reserve, got a few bids in - it's going to sell for considerably less than the £500 it was in the superstore for.

The only original SUFC work I've got left is 2pm in t'Sportman, The Badge Lady & Giz Ya Autograph.

Or if you're feeling particularly flush, there are plans to auction off my 125th Anniversary painting at the Ponds Forge do in September for the Childrens Hospital.
