Plenty of endeavor in that Hull side. Credit where it's due though, that's some turnaround by Adkins.

A play off spot could well be up for grabs for them as well with Derby and the likes of Forest, Brum, Villa all faltering or seemingly off the pace. It would be some achievement if they sneaked in considering the position they were in not long ago.

Atmosphere today :( More life in a tramps vest!
What did you do about that then? Run about screaming the greasy chip butty until you were arrested for being a mental? Thought not. You just sat quietly thinking about, Mmmm, should I moan about how quiet it was / is , or think about what I could do to improve the atmosphere? Thought not..

Just joined in the songs pal. Wish more would instead of shouting “GERRITFORRARD”

Mate I’m hardly a negative voice on here. It was flat as owt. If you think that’s fine for an unexpected promotion push, I cant get my nut around it.
I genuinely think it was ok today. Ok, first half wasn't great but the kop and south stand got behind them second half. It wasn't a backs to the walls or surging for a late winner type game, so that sort of match never seems so vociferous, but the crowd got behind them and appreciated the performance for me.

Just seems like every time its not hairs standing in the back if the neck type atmosphere, the first comment I see on here is criticising the fans, and today I think that is unfair

We just need to keep at it. The belief, passion and ability is there but this isnt my first rodeo. We've got nothing but playoff/promotion contenders in the next few games. Statements need to be made in those games if we're going up. However, on a different note.... did anyone know how them at S6 got on today? o_O
Reminds me of a post match song on Bramall lane the day Ferguson's Man United smashed eight past them.
Let's all laugh at Wednesday

Na na na

I’d love to pinch the top spot from Leeds though. Would love to see Billy lifting aloft that famous old trophy.

3rd or 6th don't matter a fuxk, I seem to remember (I think, memories a bit fucked) Suderland finishing 12 points behind us in 6th and still, going up, playoffs stink.

We played them in a semi final, we finished behind them because we were at home first.

We had beaten palace twice and they had far less points
Such is the injustice of the play offs

In 1998, we finished 14 points behind Sunderland (90 pts) and lost the PO semi. However, they didn’t go up either, they lost to Charlton (88 pts) in a game that ended 4-4 after extra time and they lost on pens.

Just looking at the league table, Stockport finished 8th, Crewe 11th, Tranmere 14th, Bury 17th and Man City and Stoke went down.
