Could be talking rubbish but isn't the Errea contract up? We definitely need to move away from Errea. The designs haven't been terrible, not groundbreaking but I haven't outright disliked them. They look incredibly cheap though and the ones in the club shop feel awful.

I'm in the minority, I dislike stripes on the back and I can't say I'm particularly a fan of black pin stripes so the Adidas kits for me were some of my favourites. I'd like to see us go back to them.

Think we have 1 more di-errea year don't we??
The sooner we get rid the better for me, the Pound land of kit makers.

They look nice but the ones I’ve seen up close are lacking the quality of an Adidas shirt. And the other stuff is ridiculously overpriced. £75 for an Errea hoodie is taking the piss. Even at the sale price with 50% off they’re still expensive considering the crap quality.

Think Bettis said it's Errea as the old ownership dealt with it. Designs and contracts etc are done well in advance and the takeover was past that deadline

I know the received wisdom on here has always been that Adidas produce great quality shirts so I found this instagram post interesting. If the Argentina one is cheap crap, then I'm sure anything they make for us would be the same / worse.

Just shows that brand equity can lead to false perceptions of quality.

As one or two posters have already referenced to already, I honestly think the overwhelming majority of the Errea kit designs have been top, top quality!

Let's be right, other than changing the sponsor regularly, how many ways can you make red and white stripes look innovative and different from the last season after season? It's a tough gig, they've leant heavily on the retro angle, and done it well in my opinion.

The quality material/manufacturing wise however, is utterly poor, and it's a crying shame that this isn't reflected in the price, and it's for this reason alone that I would absolutely love it if we moved on from the Errea era sharpish and got a proper high end brand back in.

Lastly, the 22/23 3rd shirt was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen in my life - and they seemed to actually make it properly as well, shame many of the other incredibly well designed kits weren't made to the same quality! sheffield_united_2022_2023_third_kit_g.webp

I'll settle for any shirt without that hideous Maneki logo on the front of it

This season’s kit has been ruined by the sponsor pic like last seasons. Hoping for better next year.

I forgot about this. Banging shirt that. Easily one of the best we've ever had if you ask me.

The Argentina one almost looks like the "fan version" and the Brazil one is the "player version"

Listening to his comments, both were player versions though

You get Hummel or umbro in. You get bespoke designs, good quality and training wear that will sell alot. It will sell alot because of those points^ and the club will make more profit. Some great stuff by both companies over last 5 years.
Umbro are now Castore

Umbro kits from the early 90's are the best. You can't knock the quality either as I've still got 4 or 5 and they are mint condition.

They had proper budgets then to do proper things. Now it’s a tick sheet if you have a collar you can’t have a sleeve tag etc etc wtc

Back then it was
