Glad to be of service

Anybody want to risk a prediction?

Has Stokes done enough to secure a starting place? What about Spring?

We must win this game and keep in touch with the top few

I really detest PNE, they are like the pigs in terms of cheating and underhand tactics.

They also signed a centre back of which words cannot describe the hatred i feel towards him and his disfigured homosexual like face. Just thinking about him gets me worked up!

On holiday a few year back i got to know 2 birds from Preston, one of which supported PNE, the other was a plastic. (manure) and Since we beat them 2-1 with a last minute Danny Webber goal from a Craig Short assist we have faled to beat them, as soon as we don't i get badgered about it non stop.

I just detest that club. Like the moment one of their players decided to sythe down Jagielka in the box late on (at their place, friday night, december 05 0-0) and then claim it was never a penalty after the match. Their players coming to the Lane 2 years later and pretty much mugging our players in the box twice (i think, my memory of Blades matches when Drunk was in charge has pretty much deserted me) and we did not get a penalty or they cheated and got a penalty. They cheated in some way at least!

then we got beaten by them at their place and Morgs was sent off, and i am pretty certain we were denied some kind of luck there aswell, like a handball or a foul for a penalty.

They are a small, typical lanchashire club with a low number of fans, whom appear to be inbred like their neighbours in Burnley.

3 0

everything gels

and i'll get change for a twenty when paying with a fiver at the sportsman

oh and come 11 pm i'll be drunk and in heaven

normal match then :-) apart from the score! oh and the money!!

Im going to say we wont win. Then maybe our luck will change & we'll grab a hatfull of goals

I think it will be a laboured 1-1 draw, with plenty of huff and puff but not much substance

Speed rested.

If Gary Speed starts I will seriously begin to wonder what the terms of his contract are :D

It's been obvious for weeks that he just can't play with the same regularity he used to.

Perhaps once Howard has settled in, Speed would have some of the pressure taken off him to be a ball-winning midfielder. Until then, give the poor bloke a week off!

Our games against Preston always seem to be dull affairs, so im not expecting too much tomorrow. I think we'll win though, 1-0.

I think Blackwell should start with the side he started at half time on Tuesday. But then I havent seen Spring play yet so I dont really know, bit pointless me posting this cos I really don't know what to say.

2-1 to us though, they will score first.

Teams:

Blades: Kenny, Naysmith, Morgan, Stokes, Beattie, Webber, Howard, Spring, Quinn, Naughton, Ehiogu. Subs: Halford, Cotterill, Sun, Montgomery, Sharp.

Preston: Lonergan, Mawene, Sedgwick, Nicholson, St Ledger, McKenna, Jones, McEveley, Wallace, Parkin, Elliott. Subs: Jarrett, Whaley, Nolan, Neal, Mellor.

Could of won by more.

Overall a alright performance Preston didnt cause too many problems.

Although once again another crap ref.

Naughton and Ugo for MOTM.

See what i mean, they are a bunch of c*nts are those preston players.

Underhand tactics right under the big red nose of the ref who was pulled in straight from a performance at the local gypo Circus.

I'm dissapointed St. Ledger never snapped his leg in 2 when he went down, CUNT.

Once again it must have taken an half time rollocking to get us going, I don't know why we can't play with urgency all throughout the game. Poor first half, decent second half. Ref atrocious once again and with Tuesday's ref, things are unlikely to get better.

Whats weird, is we don't play brillaint football, but we grind out results. Can't wait for us to really play well and take the game to a team like we know we can. We looked better with Sun on the pitch, he looked like he wanted to play the ball inlike hoof the ball Naysmith. Saying that we havet he joint best defensive record in the league, so we must be doing something right.

Howard MOTM for me. And whats up with Beattie, looks lost and as though he just doesn't want to play.

In a nutshell, the first half was a complete waste of 45 minutes of my time.

The second half we was marginally better and nicked a win through a scrappy goal from Ehigou.

I thought Ehigou was man of the match and was excellent today, Sun Jihal was also good when he came on.

I was a bit disappointed with a general lack of creativity in the middle of the park, and it was like we had drawn a line across the last third of the pitch and whenever that line was crossed we turned shit.

Webber was poor, as was Stokes and i don't know what was up with Beattie although i suspect he might be playing with a knock

Beattie has had stitches in his shin. So that might explain why he was struggling during the game and Blackwell still doesnt seem to think he is fully fit due to him missing pre season.
