McCabe - tricky season, not for the want of trying.

birch - great deal of bad luck. cant blame physio dept, amongst the best in football.

McCabe - spent more this season than planned, 4th highest wage bill.

Birch - suffered from players not having a preseason.

McCabe - handcuffed due to month missed with playoffs. Committed to over 3mil over the contract.

McCabe - believed we would have more academy players early doors, wont rest easy until we achieve.

birch - last 5 years spent 35mil, recieved 32mil

2mil on loan deals this year.

McCabe - players beginning to realise the money is less.

Question about Chengdu and losing money.

McCabe - completely reorganised chengdu, we no longer have financial liability. need to work hard at football benefits.

birch - working hard to start preseason with as many signings as possible.

Billy Sharp wasnt recalled because of no clause, Billy Sharp has a future at the lane.

McCabe - players brought in probably werent the.right blend, m8istakes made.

McCabe - lesson from thiz season is too many short term loans.

birch - intention is to have perminent signings, at the start of the season.

McCabe - emthasis is now on player packages. less fees everywhere.

birch - 16 players contracted nexr year.

Blackwell is rated by mccabe, he can play good football.
Managers have to adapt. mccabe hopes blackwell would be in charge next season, wouldnt commit though.

Working on a modern club and business. Rather than an old football club.

not happy with academy production.

business model is to get as much income as possible from all areas.

world cup bid complaint is maladministration from council in application.

McCabe - wishes he could step out, may have stepped down in premiership. tevez made him carry on. comittment is still there. will not risk club.

not bothered about selling one share, wants investment.

no interest paid to mccabe. rates added for regulaton, not a penny out.

12k season tickets sold.

birch - most important part of the club is the academy, have to be more aggressive of academy recruitment. Not happy with spurs regarding walker.
