Watching it now. My main takeaway from the first part is what the FUCK happened to Lys Mousset. The lad was on fire. Quick, strong, scoring goals, looking like he was loving every minute of it.

I genuinely don't get the mindset of top-level footballers that end up "failing" simply because they can't be arsed. Like, all he had to do was spend 10 or so years concentrating, knuckling down and dedicating himself to one of the most profitable and privileged careers on the planet, and then he could have spent the following 40 or so living in unmatched luxury, eating all the burgers and chips that he wanted in a succession of Lamborghinis and mansions.

My main takeaway is what would have happened if fans were still allowed in at the end of the season. We play a massive part and I think we underestimate our impact. This season will prove me right or wrong.

Me too, was aiming to attend every game in a season for the first time! My best is still 44/46 plus all cup games in 1989-90 season
