2003 seems about five minutes ago, but looking at the production quality of that video makes it look more like 40 years ago.

I saw that video yesterday and was surprised by how little I remembered of that season. Even the kit. In my mind, we wore that kit for one (almost) glorious season.

I had no recollection of most of this. Like that Mike Whitlow played for us. I did remember Michael Brown clapping when Windass hacked him, though.

The match against Cardiff was a real highlight (and only the second half of that), but it was a weird season in football terms. I did have a lot of good days out, however. Early 20s, single, no kids…

This was the first year I had a season ticket. Nothing makes me feel older than it looking like it was filmed in 1983.

Not watched the whole thing yet but I remember is storming to the top of the league before christmas and then falling off a cliff later on in the season.
