Just found this on youtube, been looking for highlights of this game for ages, the full game 2-1 win at Swillsbrough in 2001:

This fella has also put up the following season reviews (obviously 1993-1994 is depressing!)

1992-1993
1993-1994
1996-1997

p.s....when watching the 1993-1994 season..talk about dubious crowds!!! When we played West Ham at home the crowd was listed as 13,000, yet the kop looks 3/4's full and john street is as well.

As discussed elsewhere, 'dubious crowds' are making a comeback. Watching the Everton v Leicester game on Sunday, there were so many empty seats I thought summat must have happened - major accident etc. - to prevent so many people getting in. They published a crowd of 38k +. Like fuck.

that's paid attendance: season ticket holders who didn't show up are included.

We were one of the last clubs to go to this system.

Is the 93/94 video an official one, I didn't think one was produced that season - I haven't seen a lot of those goals. Great find.

The clubs often say "todays official attendance" though mate, which couldn't have possibly been true as there wasn't no where near 38k at Everton on Sunday.

Could they possibly be exaggerating attendance figure these days to factor FFP into account?

Here's an issue...

My wife is an SWFC season ticket holder and a couple of years ago they put on an offer for free STs for under 5s. My son was 2 at the time and my mother-in-law got one in his name so they'd always have a spare seat next to them in case any of their friends came. I assume he counted in the attendance figures for every single match despite never setting foot inside the ground. I wonder how many others did the same.

So your son is now listed as beinge a ST holder at the Sty.

Fuck that shit. I'd have insisted on it being put in the name of Hugh Jass.

Are their friends all under 5 :-)

That's a bit naughty, especially when the ground is packed to the rafters every week. Oh....

That Wednesday match was my first derby... I think my dad had to wait 36 years to see us win at Hillsborough.
